Faride earned her Master of Science in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University and is currently working toward obtaining her second licensure in Mental Health Counseling by Summer 2026. She is also expanding her practice to include trauma-focused care.
She has extensive experience working with adults facing co-occurring disorders, serious mental illness (SMI), general mental health concerns, and substance use disorders. Her clinical work includes conducting assessments, developing discharge plans, and providing evidence-based treatment using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and psychoeducation.
Faride is passionate about helping individuals overcome addiction and the underlying mental health challenges that contribute to substance use. She considers it a privilege to support those navigating the effects of mental illness and substance abuse.
Originally from Flagstaff, she moved to Phoenix in 2012. She is married to a veteran of the United States Army who served in Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Djibouti. In her free time, she enjoys baking, listening to French music, traveling, and spending time with her two dogs.
